This McKinney-based practice is led by Sumit Katyal, M.D., a fellowship-trained, triple board-certified interventional pain medicine specialist and anesthesiologist who completed his residency and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology and in headache medicine by the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties, with particular interest in regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy for shoulder, hip, and knee joint pain.
The clinic treats a wide range of pain conditions, including back and neck pain, joint pain, sports injuries, headaches and migraines, and sciatica. Alongside interventional pain blocking techniques such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation, the practice offers regenerative therapies including stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections to help treat degenerative conditions of the shoulder, knees, hips, and spine as well as soft tissue injuries involving muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
The practice also provides pain medicine management, personal injury care, and works with law firms and insurance companies to coordinate treatment plans for patients recovering from accident-related injuries.
