What paying does not buy
- It does not buy a verification badge.
- The “NPI Verified” badge comes from a match against the CMS National Plan & Provider Enumeration System. It is earned from that registry and cannot be granted, bought or requested. A featured listing with no registry match still reads “Not Yet Verified” — we would rather lose the sale than print a credential nobody earned.
- It does not hide that it is paid.
- Featured listings are labelled “Sponsored” everywhere they appear, and any page that ranks them above organic results says so in plain text. Patients deserve to know which order they are reading.
- It does not change what we say about you.
