Founded in 2018 by Matthew Feshbach, this practice was established with the mission to help people with chronic degenerative diseases improve symptoms, function, and quality of life using adult stem cell therapy. The approach grew out of earlier work co-founding Okyanos Cell Therapy, and was formalized following passage of the Federal Right to Try Act, which allows patients with life-threatening or terminal conditions to pursue treatments not yet FDA-approved.
Care centers on adipose-derived stem and regenerative cells (ADRCs), a mixed population of cells obtained from a patient's own fat tissue and processed using the Celution cell processing system before being reintroduced at the point of care. Injection sites described include spinal structures such as the multifidus muscle and facet joints, shoulder structures including the trapezius, AC joint, glenohumeral joint, subacromial bursa, and biceps tendon, as well as the elbow, wrist/carpal tunnel, hand joints, and hip and pelvic structures such as the trochanteric bursa, hip joint, and piriformis muscle.
Services are delivered at Salus ASC, an AAAHC-accredited facility in Beverly Hills, California, by a team that includes a medical director with a cardiology background, a regenerative injection specialist trained in interventional pain management at Stanford, a board-certified plastic surgeon, and a patient educator with family medicine experience who helps take patient history and outline a preliminary treatment plan prior to physician finalization.
